Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must be physically able to perform CNA duties
Health & Background Requirements
- TB clearance (as required by California)
- Background check (as required by clinical facilities)
- Immunizations as required by the clinical site
- CPR certification (if required before or during the program)
Additional requirements may be required by clinical sites.
Technology Requirements
- Reliable internet access
- Computer or laptop (not phone-only)
- Active email address
- Ability to access online learning platforms
- Webcam (required for live online instruction and student participation)
- Working microphone and speakers or headset
- Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge web browser
- Ability to use Google Classroom and Google Meet
- Basic computer skills (email, file uploads, internet browsing)
Program Information
Program Completion Requirements
Students must successfully complete all California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements to graduate from the Nurse Assistant Training Program.
- Minimum passing score of 75% on all required written examinations.
- Successful completion of all required laboratory and clinical skills.
- Completion of 60 hours of theory instruction.
- Completion of 100 hours of supervised clinical training.
- Compliance with attendance and school policies.
- Successful completion of all required assignments and examinations.
Training Program Fees
Program Tuition: $2,500
Additional student expenses may include:
- Live Scan fingerprinting
- Physical examination
- TB clearance
- Required immunizations
- California Nurse Assistant Competency Examination fee (if applicable)

Course Schedule and Deadlines
Program Length
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) approved Nurse Assistant Training Program is completed in approximately 6.5 weeks.
Theory Schedule
- Monday through Thursday
- 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Clinical Schedule
- Saturday and Sunday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
Course Completion
Students must successfully complete all required theory instruction, laboratory instruction, supervised clinical training, skills evaluations, written examinations, and all California Department of Public Health (CDPH) program requirements to be eligible for program completion. Students who do not complete all graduation requirements within the scheduled program may be required to complete approved make-up instruction in accordance with school policy.
